Jeweler’s Workshop was established in 1969 by Richard Armstrong, starting out as a blanket on Library Mall. It got cold and he moved into the back of a shoe store. Word got out about our unique handcrafted offerings and stellar service, and customers flooded in.
Over the years, many talented jewelers joined and mastered their craft at Jeweler’s Workshop. Our business grew alongside our reputation, and we evolved into a standalone jewelry store, specializing in custom jewelry design, jewelry repair, and jewelry appraisals.
The Jewelers Workshop tradition now lives on through current owner Jason Braden (Richard’s step son-in-law) and his team of talented jewelers. Our incredible team is committed to being the premier custom jeweler in Madison.
From the moment you walk through our door, we dedicate ourselves to meeting your needs. Combining classic craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology, we still create every piece of jewelry right here in our workshop. That's how we can guarantee quality to our customers every time. We've built our business on a commitment to customer satisfaction and word-of-mouth referrals. Ask around, and we know you'll hear good things.
You can feel good about shopping with us, because you're not just getting the best experience in town–you're also giving back to our town. When you shop local, your money reverberates throughout the community. Supporting our small business allows us to support others, reinforcing the whole local economy. It's a winning deal all around.
Madison is a one-of-a-kind place, and it deserves a one-of-a-kind jeweler. We’ve been meeting your wild and wonderful jewelry needs for over fifty years now, and we hope to continue for many more.
